This is the personal website of Magnus Pharao Hansen, PhD. I am an Anthropologist & Linguist who works as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Copenhagen. Here you can find information about my research and teaching, an updated CV, links to my blogs about the Nahuatl language , and news about my different projects.
When I am not working I enjoy playing music and reading about new topics, and I often edit Wikipedia as I read. Recently I have read and written about the Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe, about the French egyptologist and decipherer of the hieroglyphs Jean Francois Champollion – I am particularly fond of such historical personalities who shared my penchant for discovering the new aspects of the world through combinations of adventure, systematic observation and intuitive, abductive thinking.
